When it comes to Corporate Social Responsibility we believe that actions speak louder than words.  Our actions include:

• Sponsoring Charity Builder, a unique website that works interactively with you to produce fully compliant HR and Health & Safety documentation. Our sponsorship means that charities can use it free-of-charge, and over 1,500 organisations are currently doing just that.
• Over 70% of our employees take part in our Give As You Earn Scheme
• 100% take part in our fundraising events.  This year’s highlights have included a closely fought inter-team football match, and a less closely fought, but very entertaining, version of ‘Ready, Steady, Cook’.
• We work with a selected charity each year and provide them with practical as well as financial support.  Activities have included building a website and planning and running a major fundraising event.
• Many of our staff take part in individual fundraising events.  These range from an annual bike ride to a once –in-a-lifetime conquering of the world’s toughest ultra-running event, the Marathon Des Sables, which raised £65,000 for research into and treatment of kidney disease.
• All three Directors of Tennyson Insurance hold roles as trustees of one or more charities, the work of these charities encompasses local, national and international issues.
