Our business model
When we set up Tennyson Insurance we were clear as to what we wanted to offer our potential customers: a warm, efficient service combined with highly competitive pricing. We achieve the first of these through our people who are all specialists in working with charities and not-for-profit organisations. We achieve the second by working exclusively with Zurich Insurance. Like many insurers we researched setting up a brokership (where we could check the rates of many different underwriters and offer the best to our clients) but concluded that we could deliver better service and, crucially, better prices to our clients by concentrating our business with one underwriter. We then chose to work with Zurich because of their financial strength and their commitment to the sector that we serve. So far we are pleased with the results of this way of working and we hope that you will be too.
